A message from the Pastor...
First of all we give thanks and praise to God for His
guidance and direction. We are very excited to become apart
of the faith family at Mineral City Church. We look forward
to what God has in store for us and His people. Kelly
and I look forward to getting to know you and we look
forward to journeying together.
James and John approached Jesus and said… “Let one of us sit
at your right and the other at your left in your glory.”
James and John came to the Lord that day wanting to know who
was going to be in charge, who was going to be in power.
Jesus replies… “You don’t know what you are asking…”
Jesus began to explain to them that the first shall be last.
Jesus himself explains once again that… “The Son of Man did
not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life as
a ransom for many.”
In this season of Advent let us be reminded that the Lord
came to us in humility and meekness, as a babe. We can
and should continue to learn from our Lord that the question
should not be… “where am I going to be seated, or Who is
going to have the power?” The question this season
should be… “How can I serve?”
Grace and Peace,
Pastor Terry
